Registered Massage Therapist

Laura graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara College in 2018 with 3200 hours of training. During the program, she gained a variety of experience with different populations such as health care practitioners at BC Cancer, seniors at UBC palliative care and West Van Senior Center, patients from International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries center at VGH, and dancers at Harbour Dance Center. Those experiences added greatly to her practice.

As a Registered Massage Therapist, she is passionate about helping others internally/externally to improve their wellbeing and recover from injuries.

She focuses on treating people with ICBC Motor Vehicle Accidents, Rotator cuff pathologies, overuse injuries, arthritis, pre/post-natal pregnancy, spinal cord injury, tendinopathy, neuromuscular pain and more. She is trained in Ligamentous Articular Strain Technique for giving effective treatment for ligamentous injuries, IASTM (Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization) Technique, and level 1 of Stott Pilates IMP (Intensive Mat-Plus) and IR (Intensive Reformer) course.

She is fluent in Korean and English. She loves learning new languages such as Spanish and French.

In her free time, she loves exploring beautiful places in BC, cycling, hiking, yoga, and playing piano.
